Halloween Creations

I just love Halloween!  It's the time of year to really let your creative juices flow with
costumes and decorations.  I love incorporating paper, die cuts and embellishments as I
did in the green witch hat card.  Paper mache witch hats are so a great way to
use paints, trims, and all kinds of fun embellishments.  I found a dark orange spider
and pumpkin to create my mixed media witch hat.  Finally, I had a pumpkin shaped
chipboard album I bought last year at Michaels.  I had added some Authentique
scrapbook paper and distress inks to cover the album.  I pulled out the album and finished added
lots of great Halloween embellishments I made and bought.

Thinking of Spring

With snow on the ground and temperatures in the low 20's, I'm really looking forward
to Spring and lots of flowers and color.  I just got these new Impression Obsession bunny
dies and I just love them.  They cut great and are just too adorable!!

I also die cut the basket from my Cricut Doodlecharms cartridge.  The eggs were die cut
from some scraps I had from a 6 x 6 paper pack by My Minds Eye.

The second card was made using the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge.  I use this cartridge all
the time.  I had the paper left from a Spring DCWV 12 x 12 paper pack.  I love dimension on my cards so I popped up a few of the eggs and embossed the green hill.

Easter Card

Wow - I can't believe it's been November since I last posted.  I had an extremely busy Christmas and a wonderful time in North Carolina visiting my daughters and grandsons.  We are having some extremely cold weather so it has been the perfect weekend to make some new cards and work on some New Year's goals.

First card I decided to combine some die cutting and embossing.

On my second card, I decided to use my new Spectrum Noir markers.  I had the perfect
Easter stamp to practice my coloring skills.
