Easter Card

Wow - I can't believe it's been November since I last posted.  I had an extremely busy Christmas and a wonderful time in North Carolina visiting my daughters and grandsons.  We are having some extremely cold weather so it has been the perfect weekend to make some new cards and work on some New Year's goals.

First card I decided to combine some die cutting and embossing.

On my second card, I decided to use my new Spectrum Noir markers.  I had the perfect
Easter stamp to practice my coloring skills.

Easter Egg Card

I love to find a good inexpensive stamp and create a card using one stamp.  For this card I wanted to use pastel colors for Spring/Easter.  I stamped and embossed the egg on 4 different pastel colored papers and then hand cut.  I used my circle cutter to create the basket.  I cut the circle in half and used a smaller circle to create the handle.  I then ran the basket thru one of my embossing pads using my Sissix BIG kick.  I had some Easter rub-ons and found one that went perfect with the basket and eggs.

Fall is Coming!

Where did the summer go?  I am waiting anxiously for my favorite season - Autumn.  After a long
hot and sticky summer, I am looking forward to some cooler weather.   Turn off the ac and throw
open the windows.  Fall brings to mind pumpkins, leaves, and crisp cool weather.  I created a few
cards with the colors of fall - red, orange, and golds.

I stamped a pumpkin in brown and colored it in with markers.  I used browns and oranges
with this card.

On this card I stamped leaves and added clear emboss.  I cut them out and added some
lovely printed paper.
